Good morning girls and boys!

It´s almost Easter and I have prepared some activities related to it.
Do you know the Easter traditions and symbols in Great Britain? Watch this video:




 

After you watch the video you can paint an Egg with a paintbrush (don´t forget to boil it first), or an Easter Bonnet or even cook a Hot Cross Bun (I´ll leave you the recipe too).

Finally, here you have the Hot Cross Bun recipe. I hope you like it! 

 
Ingredients:
For the dough: (para la masa)
-450gr of flour
-1 tablespoon of yeast (levadura en polvo)
-75 gr of sugar (panela or similar)
-150ml of warm milk (templada)
-1 egg
-50gr of melted butter
-1 tablespoon of ground cinnamon (canela en polvo)
-1/2 tablespoon of ginger (jengibre en polvo)
-1/4 tablespoon of nutmeg (nuez moscada) 
For the topping:
-5 tablespoons of flour
-5-6 tablespoons of water
-you can also add some icing sugar (azucar glass) to the mix
